Nigel Axon qualified as an Architect nearly 15 years ago and has over 20 years experience in the industry. Whilst working for
several practices in England and Wales both in the public and private sector, Nigel has gained indispensable experience in the design
and commercial fields of Architecture.
Nigel is passionate about design and is responsible for designing and developing successful projects in diverse markets.
These include multi million pound mixed use developments, award winning commercial offices, car showrooms, sports and higher
education facilities, warehousing and residential developments. Designing bespoke dwellings, refurbishing and extending existing
residential properties is another speciality.
Attending Huddersfield University in 1990, De Montfort University in 1996, University of central England in 1997, Nigel became a
Chartered member of the RIBA in 1998.
Having setup AXONArchitects in 2006, the growth and success led to the acquisition of Beckett Associates in 2007.
As a dedicated member of the RIBA Leicestershire and Rutland Soceity of Architects, Nigel is currently the Committees Treasurer and
a member of the LRSA Design Committee, which has an ongoing committment to promoting good design.
